Someone sent a beautiful thing, but didn’t tell me who it was… please let me know who you are! Sunnier times indeed…
Thank you!
Round 2 has begun, Chemo#3 continues at home, I remain connected to a Pump for two more days, a small bottle with a balloon that gradually deflates over time. It’ll be removed on Friday.
The last dose of Chemo #2 at the end of today, has whacked me for 6 again. Overwhelming waves of nausea, blurred vision and slurry speech. Like the end point of being drunk…
That’ll be me for the next two days.
So bath, a bit of food – despite a loss of smell, taste and weird lock jaw and brain freeze if anything is below room temperature, making it all deeply unappealing – and bed for me, with my swirly eyed concerned Dixie and a new Norwegian moose plushy called Mack.
I did have a window seat, the snacks were right and I do really feel sick…
Thank you for the prayers, the positive thoughts and love.
It means so much.
