So Round 6 is to be delayed…

My bloods have come back showing elevated enzymes in my liver. Given that the chemo targets the liver as well as the other areas, DrP feels it is best to delay Treatment for this week.

Round 6 is the halfway point. The big reveal with a full internal scan. The scan holds equal hope and anxiety, or maybe it’s just that hope is held by that anxiety. All of which will now be delayed by another week.

Round 5 has been characterised just like that scan; equal amounts of hope and anxiety. Hope as described in my last post and anxiety from a crash physically and mentally over the weekend.

Therapy today – my first session since this all began – was challenging too.

This week will be one of recovery, reset and reflection, which will hopefully allow things to settle in all the right places.
